C.C.D.

Our Parish offers C.C.D. classes for school-aged members of our parish in Kindergarten through Eighth grade who attends a public school. Classes are scheduled from October through the first of May. Classes meet one evening per week in our school. The classes follow the basic objects of the school's religion program except in a more condensed format. This is an excellent way for your child, even though attending a public school, to receive Catholic instructions.

Children's Liturgy of the Word

Kindergartners and first graders have their own Liturgy of the Word at the a.m. Sunday mass during the school year. Before the readings begin, they are invited to go out with the adult volunteers to study God's word on a level they can understand. There is no registration required.

Sunday School

Preschool Sunday School is offered for children who have turned three or four years old by July 1. Classes meet from September through May during the 8:00 a.m. Mass in our School. A fee is charged at the time of registration which covers the cost of the instructional materials. Parents volunteer their services to serve as teachers or teacher's aides.

High School Youth Program

Our parish is embarking on a new program for our High School youth. We are starting Friendship groups for the Freshman and Sophomore groups and splitting the groups up into small discussion groups with adult sponsors. The Junior and Seniors are also in similar type groups but they will focus on Confirmation preparation that will conclude with the sacrament of Confirmation in last Spring.

Our parish also offers R.C.I.A. classes for any adults wanting to learn more about the Catholic faith. Classed begin in September and commence with Holy Saturday services where the individuals celebrate baptism, first communion and/or confirmation.
