Memorare
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it
known that anyone who fled to your protection,
implored your help or sought your intercession, was left unaided. Inspired with
this confidence, I fly to you, O
Virgin of Virgin, my mother. To you I come; before you I stand, sinful and
sorrowful. O Mother of the Word
Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in your mercy, hear and answer me.

The Angelus
The angel of the Lord declared unto Mary. Response; and
she conceived of the Holy Spirit. ( Hail Mary) Behold
the handmaid of the Lord. Response; May it be done unto me according to your
word. (Hail Mary) and the word
was made flesh. Response; and dwelt among us. ( Hail Mary) Pray for us, O Holy
Mother of God. Response;
that we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ. Let us pray; O Lord, it
was through the message of an
angel that we learned of the Incarnation of Christ, your Son. Pour your grace
into our hearts, and by his Passion
and Cross bring us to the glory of his Resurrection, through Christ our Lord.
