Priesthood Sunday, October
28, 2007: Bishop John R. Gaydos, together with
the National Federation of Priests Councils and our Ministry to Priests
Committee, encourages all to reflect, pray and affirm the Priesthood in the life
of the Church. Priesthood Sunday is a national day set aside to honor the good
priests who are so important in our lives. It is a call for parishioners to
focus on Christ as Priest
and the men who are called to be his Priests on earth. It is a time for prayer,
celebration and dialog with your parish priest. Priesthood Sunday is for
priests, but it's really for all Catholics. Embrace its good intentions. For
further information, please go to
www.priestsunday.org.

CSA Q&A. Q. Wasn't the Catholic
Stewardship Appeal funded through the Grateful Memories...Faithful Future
campaign? A. Last year, the CSA had a one-year hiatus and was
incorporated into the campaign to offset holding two appeals at once. This
year, it resumes as always to help fund the ministries of the Diocese in 2008.
