30. James³ Chitwood (Richard², Matthias¹) was born in Powhatan Co., VA 21 June 1751. James died 1839 in Campbell Co., TN, at 88 years of age.

He married Martha White ca 1769. Martha is the daughter of Thomas White.

James Chitwood and Martha White had the following children:

50 i. ⁴ Chitwood was born between 1774 - 1790.

+ 51 ii. Pleasant Chitwood was born 9 May 1775.

+ 52 iii. Lazarus Chitwood was born 1778.

+ 53 iv. Winnie Chitwood was born ca 1780.

54 v. Chitwood was born between 1784-1794.

+ 55 vi. William Chitwood was born 16 Feb 1787.

+ 56 vii. Daniel Chitwood was born 1794.

+ 57 viii. Elizabeth Chitwood was born 20 Nov 1796.

58 ix. Chitwood was born 1800.
