83. Daniel⁵ Chitwood (Pleasant⁴, James³, Richard², Matthias¹) was born in TN 24 Feb 1808. Daniel died in Henry Co., MO. His body was interred at Carrsville Cemetery in Henry Co., MO.

He married Sally Prewitt 5 Feb 1829. Sally was born 1811 in KY.

Daniel Chitwood and Sally Prewitt had the following children:

166 i. Delamy⁶ Chitwood was born in MO 1831.

167 ii. Chitwood was born in MO 1833.

168 iii. Lewis Chitwood was born in MO 1835. He married Harriet before 1855.

169 iv. Elizabeth Chitwood was born in MO 1837.

170 v. Henry C. Chitwood was born in Henry Co., MO 23 Oct 1840. He married Jane Hicks. Jane was born Feb 1841 in MO.

Henry served in the military 1862.

171 vi. John C. Chitwood was born in MO 1843. John died after 1870. He married Parmelia. Parmelia was born 1846 in MO.

172 vii. Allen Reese Chitwood was born in MO 1 Jan 1846. Allen died 7 Aug 1905 in Seattle, WA, at 59 years of age. He married Marry E. Grey. Marry was born 22 Aug 1853 in TN. Marry died 22 May 1932 in Seattle, WA, at 78 years of age.

173 viii. Sarah Chitwood was born in MO 1849. She married Nancy Dabner.

174 ix. Mary Chitwood was born 1852. She married John Shines.
