She married John Ross SR 18 Sept 1815 in Pulaski Co., KY. John was born 20 Apr 1792. John died 21 Dec 1855 in Jellico Creek, Whitley Co., KY, at 63 years of age. His body was interred Dec 1855 at Jellico Creek Cemetery in Williamsburg, KY.

Elizabeth Chitwood and John Ross SR had the following children:

122 ii. Martha Ross was born 1820. She married John Harman 1840.

123 iii. Helen Ross was born 1822. She married Felix Foley 1850.

124 iv. Mahala Ross was born 1824. She married Calvin L. Creekmore 1844.

125 v. Marion H. Ross was born in Jellico Creek, Whitley Co., KY 1827. Marion died in Monticello, Piatt co., IL. He married twice. He married Mrs. Davis. He married Sarah B[arsheba] "Sally" Creekmore 1847. Sarah was born 14 May 1825 in Jellico Creek, Whitley Co., KY. Sarah died 4 Apr 1861 in Mill Spring, Wayne Co., KY, at 35 years of age. Her body was interred Apr 1861 at West family Cemetery in Mill Spring, Wayne Co., KY.

126 vi. Minerva Ross was born 1830. She married Leonard C. Cain 1847.

127 vii. John Ross was born 1833.

128 viii. Serepta Ross was born 1834. She married James Campbell 1849.

129 ix. Hannibal Ross was born 1836. He married Mary M. Hatfield 1856.

130 x. James Calvin Ross was born 1838. He married Jane Meadows 1858.

131 xi. Elizabeth Ross was born 1840. She married John M. Creekmore 1856.
