He married Anna 8 Nov 1814. Anna was born 1797 in TN.

Daniel Chitwood and Anna had the following children:

113 i. John H.⁵ Chitwood was born in TN 1810. John died 24 Apr 1864 at 53 years of age. His body was interred Apr or May 1864 at Andersonville National Cemetery in Andersonville, GA. He married Nancy Hamby 1835. Nancy was born 26 Sept 1815 in North Carolina. Nancy died 18 July 1887 in Alderville, Scott Co., TN, at 71 years of age. Her body was interred July 1887 at Davis Cemetery in Alderville, Scott Co., TN.

John served in the military in TN.

114 ii. Mary Chitwood was born 1812.

115 iii. Martha Chitwood was born 1816.

116 iv. Hannah Chitwood was born in TN 1817. She married Alfred Ross. Alfred was born 1816 in KY. Alfred died 8 Dec 1861 in London, KY, at 45 years of age.

117 v. James Chitwood was born in TN 1823. He married Elizabeth Thompson. Elizabeth was born 1818.

118 vi. Chitwood was born 1830.

119 vii. Elizabeth Ann Chitwood was born in Scott Co., TN June 1831. Elizabeth died 11 May 1909 in Oneida, TN, at 77 years of age. She married Cornelius "Neal" Litton 3 Feb 1849 in Campbell Co., TN. Cornelius was born 22 June 1828 in Campbell Co., TN. Cornelius died 19 July 1890 in Oneida, TN, at 62 years of age.

120 viii. Joel B. Chitwood was born in Scott Co., TN 26 July 1833. Joel died 23 July 1918 in Minco, OK, at 84 years of age. He married Sarah Trammel. Sarah was born 19 Oct 1834 in Scott Co., TN. Sarah died 24 Jan 1907 in Minco, OK, at 72 years of age.

Joel served in the military in TN.
