33. Richard³ Chitwood (Richard², Matthias¹) was born ca 1765. Richard died May 1822 in MO, at 56 years of age.

Richard Chitwood had the following children:

70 i. James⁴ Chitwood was born in North Carolina 1787. He married Margaret. Margaret was born 1795 in KY.

71 ii. Margaret Chitwood was born 1790. She married Warren Hunt.

72 iii. John Chitwood was born in North Carolina 11 Jan 1793. John died 5 Aug 1875 in Ralls Co., MO, at 82 years of age. His body was interred Aug 1875 at Salem Baptist Cemetery in Ralls Co., MO. He married Rosana Seely. Rosana was born 29 Mar 1794 in KY. Rosana died 19 July 1883 in Ralls Co., MO, at 89 years of age. Her body was interred July 1883 at Salem Baptist Cemetery in Ralls Co., MO.

73 iv. Seth Chitwood was born in KY 22 Jan 1795. Seth died 4 Apr 1840 in Franklin Co., MO, at 45 years of age. He married Lucinda Caldwell 16 Dec 1822. Lucinda was born 27 Nov 1800. Lucinda died 19 July 1854 at 53 years of age.

74 v. Richard Chitwood was born in KY 1797. Richard died 30 Apr 1862 in Ralls Co., MO, at 64 years of age. He married Sarah Sealy 23 Dec 1827 in Ralls Co., MO. Sarah was born 1799 in Ohio.

75 vi. Hiram Chitwood was born in MO 1808.

76 vii. Amos Chitwood was born in MO 1811.
