Chicken  and Noodles

  • 1 Medium chicken
  • 2 tsp. celery salt

        Noodles:

  • 5 eggs
  • 1 tsp. oil
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. poultry seasoning
  • 1 1/2 to 2 cups flour

Cook chicken and celery salt in water ( need enough for 3 quarts of broth) and boil until done, around 1 1/2 hours.  Set aside and prepare noodles.

Beat eggs with fork in mixing bowl.  Add oil and mix.  Sift 1 cup flour, baking powder, and salt.  Add to egg mixture and add more flour until stiff.  Roll out on floured surface and cut into strips for noodles. Sprinkle with flour and let strips set to firm up. Take chicken  out of pot and de-bone.  Add two tablespoons of chicken bouillon to broth; cook noodles in chicken broth.  Cut up chicken and put in with noodles when done.
