Black Beans (Backwater Jacks)

  • 3 lemon wedges 1/2 cup Worcestershire Sauce

  • 1 Tablespoon hot sauce 1 Tablespoon chopped jalapeno

  • 32 oz. Broth 2 pounds of Black Beans soaked with salt

  • 1 Tablespoon Cumin 1 Tablespoon Parsley

  • 1 Teaspoon Garlic Powder 1Teaspoon salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper 

    Cook beans in slow cooker of low over night. Rice should be prepared using
    broth (instead of water) and spice with Cajun spice to taste.
