Stan’s Corn Bread Sausage Stuffing

  • 8 cups Corn bread                              1 cup chopped Onions
  • 6 cups soft bread cubes                      2 Eggs beaten
  • 1 lb. Sausage (hot)                              10 ¾ oz. Chicken Broth
  • 1 teaspoon Sage (more depending on sausage)
  • 2 cups Celery diced                             1 tsp Salt 
  • ½ tsp Pepper 

Bake corn bread according to directions, cool completely, crumble and add bread cubes.

Cook sausage with sage, add celery and onion. Continue cooking until vegetables are brown and tender. Drain grease and add sausage mixture, eggs and chicken broth to bread. Toss lightly. For moisture stuffing add up to ¼ cup water. Bake covered at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes.
