Seasoned
Rice
Ingredients:
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
2 tablespoons diced onions
2 tablespoons diced celery
1 cup Minute rice, uncooked
1 tablespoons McCormick® 1 Step Chicken Seasoning: Lemon Herb Chicken
2 cups chicken broth
Directions:
Melt butter in 2-quart saucepan; add onions and celery, and cook 4-5 minutes
until tender. Add rice and cook 2 minutes more. Add chicken broth
and 1 Step Seasoning. Bring to boil, then reduce heat to a simmer.
Cook 20 minutes, stirring occasionally, or until rice is tender.
Tip: Instead of 1 Step Chicken Seasoning: Lemon Herb Chicken, try adding 1 Step
Chicken Seasoning: Stir Fry for roasted garlic flavored rice; or for
southwestern flavor add 1 Step Beef Seasoning: Tex Mex Chili.
