Sausage and Egg Brunch

  • 2 ½ cups seasoned Croutons(8 slices bread, trimmed & cubed)
  • 2 cup Colby Jack Cheese                                  ½~1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 2 lb. Sausage (spicy)                                         ¾ teaspoon salt
  • 7 Eggs                                                              1 can Mushroom soup
  • 3 cup Milk                                                         Dash of Pepper

Layer 2 ½ cups seasoned croutons in greased cake (or casserole) pan, 9x13 inch. Add 1 ½ cups layer of grated cheese; brown sausage and layer over cheese. Beat together eggs with milk, salt, pepper, and mustard; pour layers in pan and refrigerate overnight. When ready to cook, layer the ½ cup grated cheese on top; mix mushroom soup and milk, then pour over all and bake 1 hour at 325 degrees.
