Flop Cake

  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 (20 ounces) can crushed pineapple

Combine flour, soda and sugar.  Add pineapple and mix well. Pour into greased and floured 9x13 inch pan.  Bake 20 to 30 minutes at 350 degrees.

Frosting:

  • 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup margarine, melted
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 cup flaked coconut

Combine milk and margarine and bring to a boil.  Stirring constantly, boil for 4 minutes.  Add coconut and mix.  Spread over cake while it is hot.
