Flaky Pie Pastry

Combine the following dry ingredients:

  • 4 cups of Flour                  2 cups of Shortening
  • 1 Tbs. Sugar                      1 Tsp. Salt

Mix together:

  • 1 Tbs. Vinegar (Cider)       1 Egg
  • ½ Cups of Water

Pour into dry ingredients, mix well, chill 15 minutes. Bake, as any other piecrust also can be stored in the refrigerator for further use.
