Cherry Mash Bars

  • 1 cup Sugar

  • 2 Tbl Margarine

  • 1/4 tsp Salt

  • 1/3 cup Evaporated Milk

  • 1 cup Miniature Marshmallows

  • 1 cup Cherry Chips

  • 1 cup Chocolate Chips

  • 1/2 cup Peanut Butter

  • 1 cup Salted Spanish Peanuts 

    Combine sugar, margarine, salt and half-and-half in 2 quart saucepan.  Boil over medium high heat for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.  Stir in marshmallows and cherry chips.  Spread in 8 0r 9 inch square pan which has been lined with wax paper.  Melt chocolate chips with peanut butter in small saucepan over low heat, stirring occasionally.  Stin in peanuts. Spread over cherry layer.  When cool, cut into squares.
