I have been a licensed EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) since March 1995. I currently work full time for the local ambulance service in the town where I live and also in the states capital which is Jefferson City which is where the ambulance service is based out of a local hospital. I enjoy working with people and enjoy helping sick and injured people and helping the community. I used to be a Volunteer Firefighter with a local fire department but due to working with the ambulance I did not have much time to contribute to the fire service. Below you will find some links to some of my favorite Emergency Medical related sites. I hope that you will find them useful. If you have any comments or questions please feel free to contact me.
EMS Training Resources A great page covering Fire Services, Emergency Services, and Police. They also have downloads for Fire and EMS software. This page contains allot of interesting articles and information. It's worth checking out.

WebMD A great new online information storage center. Visit this site today and fill in the info and get your card in the mail with your Medical History, Medications, and Allergies among other things listed so the ambulance personal and doctors will have the info when they need it. Best of all it's free. |
